Learning to play together is not only fun, it's essential to a musician's development!
One of the benefits of taking guitar lessons here in my studio is that the student will have ample opportunity to join forces with other musicians. Playing with others is not only fun, but it also teaches working together, listening, leading, and following!

Guitar
In addition to their studies, guitar students will often be called upon to play a duet with me (the teacher) or another guitar student.

Violin
Beginner/Intermediate guitar students will learn to play with our student violinist.

Harp
Guitar students will the opportunity to collaborate with student harpist.

Piano
Advanced guitar students will study concertos and other orchestra reductions for guitar with piano accompaniment with our resident pianist.

Improv
Another important skill for a guitar student to develop is the art of improvisation. Theory, ear training, and the science behind playing together will be an integral part of study.
